Good patio doors already weigh a ton.
TP is crazy heavy. Also the air space in most PD TP gets a little narrow.

In my area, Philly, for 11 high performance white vinyl insert windows supplied and installed $11,000 to $15,000.
High performance defined as a great window with AL below .02

Are you concerned with adding any security in the glass?

Based on what you have shared I would suggest a high performance vinyl unit like the Okna 800 triple pane with argon or its equal.

You could consider fiberglass. But the cost is higher and not as air tight. What floor are the windows on? Vinyl, painted exterior,foam filled frames and sash, option for triple pane to make sure you do not have condensation. You can have the best windows and still have condensation or more condensa...

For a low volume project the pricing seems okay at $5700.
For that price you should find a better product like Okna or Vytex.

Are they a vinyl frame? Do they have grids? between the glass or glued to both the exterior and interior of the sash?
