Neither one is a great choice, although you could find worse... I like the Plygem lines that were formerly Great lakes, but the certainteed is not impressive from what I've seen. The line that I'm familiar with is the old Bryn mawr II.

Sounds like a good price to me. I don't sell that product so I can't say for sure, but it is a very high-end window with some options, so I don't know that you'll find a better deal than that.

Check with your local Marvin Dealer. The Integrity line has expanded a great deal this year, and they are accomidating special sizes. The Great Lakes Seabrooke is comparable to the Simonton imo.... So product wise, I don't think that a $2000 premium is justified.
