Soft-Lite / Elements Ultra-S Triple vs. Alside Pres E-Maxx1010
Soft-Lite / Elements Ultra-S Triple vs. Alside Pres E-Maxx1010
Looking to replace 14 windows - have had a few quotes and have it narrowed down to 2 windows
The quotes I have are very-very close so looking for opinions / info on which one
1) Soft-Lite Elements Ultra-S Triple panes
2) Alside / Preservation Energymaxx10 Triple panes
Based on quite a few hours of research on the old inter-web it looks to me like the Soft-Lite are the way to go apples vs. apples - actually most say the Soft-Lite heads up is a much better window ?
It seems to be better quality, rating etc.........
I cannot find R-Value or Condensation resistance ratings anywhere on the Alside / Preservation windows.
The salesman gave me a number on the RV but I can't confirm it anywhere in their own literature or the web.
Appreciate any info
Thanks
Kato

In that binary, slam dunk for the Elements.

Elements is much better designed and nicer looking, Elements is one of the best windows available.

Elements is the only and correct answer , there is not one pro here that will give the Alside the nod.

E-Maxx1010 is not the manufacturer's name for that glass they have a Climatech-10 which is triple pane with Krypton which is Alside only glass package with any mention of 10. The CR number for the Preservation with that glass is 72 according to Alside tech website. and the R value is 5.55. It could be an R-20 and I'd still prefer the Elements. The air infiltration rating on that window is a .24 and as low as .07 on there smallest window.

I always start with no drafts. Then well built. Then attractive.
SL is tops in all those.

Keep 'er away from the baked beans, and she had better have some powerful haunches.
Besides that, I'd also vote for the Soifyle produt here.
