Hi Guys,
Thanks in advance for helping.
This is my first post - So please bear with me.
I recently had replacement windows put in (About 3 months ago), and I am getting lots of condensation buildup around the bottom edges of the windows.
The temperature went from 45 degrees yesterday late afternoon to 25 this morning.
The window locks are enabled, and the windows are "Tight"
What can be the issue?
FYI - These are Duralite Replacement Windows w/ Flange

Re: Heavy Condensation
Totally normal. New windows are air tight and moisture build up in your home isnt escaping due to a lack of air leakage which is a good thing. Lower the humidity levels in your home if you can as well as open the blinds.
It usually disappears by 11:30 am.

Re: Heavy Condensation
Not uncommon at all to see this type of sweating with a rapid drop in temperature.
Be sure to have your drapes and blinds open as well.

Re: Heavy Condensation
+1, most likely due to high relative humidity in the home. Plenty of info on window condensation if you search for it, and its very rare that it has anything to do with a window defect.... Your new windows will have a warmer surface than the old ones (better condensation resistance), but as the masterext was referring to, they will also likely seal that moisture in if the old units leaked air.... Make sure drapes or blinds are at least partially open, check RH in the home, etc.
