input needed in Georgia

#1 Post by illuzionz »

Hello all, I am looking to replace the windows in our home in North Georgia.

One contractor came out and quoted Alside Mezzo's and the price was attractive but I do not want such a low quality window.

Are their any pros in this area of Georgia that are recommended to use for purchase/install?

I like options, so what would be a decent (without breaking the bank) replacement window brand and model? or a few different ones? Mostly floor to ceiling double hungs and a few picture windows.

I should say quality mid-grade window needed. Dont need top tier windows for this project, anything will be better than the 22 year old wooden builders grade specials currently installed, but I am hoping to not overpay for cheap crap windows. All input welcomed.

Thanks in advance for your time and expertise.

Have you asked friends or neighbors?

That window is generally not recommended as one of the windows that most would refer to as "Good, Mid-Grade" in terms of product quality.

Have you searched around for any of the other commonly recommended windows? Soft-Lite, Sunrise, etc?
