DFW Window Replacement help

#1 Post by utlonghorns12 »

I need some guidance on windows. I don't see this brand mentioned on here really but I am currently looking at Revere's Berkshire Elite Single hung window. We are having the original 20 year old aluminum double pane windows replaced so at this point, anything is an upgrade. This isn't my forever home and will prob be here 5-7 more years.

I was just quoted $11.5K for 19 double pane, single hung windows with the XPSC barrier.

Looking for feedback on this brand of window, the quote, and if there are other brands we should look at.

Not, typically, a recommended window in this case.

Appreciate the reply. Let me give you some additional info. I have also reached out to a local NT dealer and received a rough estimate via email for around $8K for the Executive line based on the measurements I sent over.

We are replacing:
qty 5 24x72
qty 8 36x72
qty 1 "twin" 60x72
qty 1 48x60 tempered glass
qty 1 36x18 half round
qty 1 25x30 arch top
qty 1 36x36 arch top

NT is a good choice for a solid mid-grade vinyl window in the DFW area. I prefer the Presidential or Energy Master lines, but the Executive isn’t bad.
