I have a slider window in the bathroom and a dealer just recommended an awning to replace it. I was wondering how the site pros felt about awnings. Is it something you would or would not recommend? Are they energy efficient and reliable?
Awning windows are very efficient windows. They are really just a crank out window flipped horizontally. With some different hardware to operate the window. These windows are very common in a bathroom. It's no problem at all. I would have offered you the same thing.
