#1 not sure what you mean. Put they can have the stops on either side or both sides.
#2 same as any PW. W&D foam around fame. Wet glaze the units and there will be no air flow.
#3 no more trouble than a traditional PW.
#4 wise investment is to have a certified window installer install all fenestration products. Framers should stick to framing.
#5 ask that question of whom you buy the IGUs and the rest of your fenestration products from.
In Philly I am well known.
#6 The triple panes I mentioned earlier ~60" x 78" cost about $750 each, these units were special sizes. The key to making it the lowest cost is to use stock size PD door glass.
The glass fabricators can normally provide a u value for different types of low e argon.
