If you don't have a referral from a friend of family member, start by looking at top brand. Sunrise, Okna, Soft-Lite, etc.

Yes, we have no referrals. Not sure if we should be looking at fiberglass or vinyl. I always thought vinyl was low end.

Far from it these days.
Really comes down to what You want the interiors to look and feel like. On the performance end of the scales, vinyl whoops up on the other products in most cases.

Thanks for the info! We have several estimates now: Midway Hawthorne, Sunrise Restoration & Kensington. Will also be getting an estimate from an Okna person. These estimates are all over the place. Going to make a spreadsheet to compare the specs. Does anyone have insight into these brands??

The Restorations and Kensington windows are quite good as is the Okna brand. Not familiar with the Midway product.
