Thanks HomeSealed and Windows on Washington. Decreasing the chance of condensation and shade redundancy are other reasons to go with just a 3rd surface LoE coating like 180. I hope I can find a few double hung windows that have a U-factor of 30 or less with just that type of coating.
In your opinions who makes some of the tighter double hung windows?

Soft-Lite (upper series like the Elements and Imperial LS), Sunrise Restorations, Okna
Re: Windows for Passive Solar Sunroom
Thanks Windows on Washington. I know Harvey acquired Soft-Lite a few years ago. Harvey has a glass option called Sungain that have a higher SHGC (I have reached out to them requesting the numbers re: SHGC and U-factor).
What are your thoughts on Harvey windows?

With the literature that both Okna and Soft-Lite provide it appears that they do not offer something similar to Harvey's Sungain or Pella's NaturalSun. Can I request a higher SHGC with their windows?
The highest SHGC for any Okna DH series was 30.

The highest SHGC for Soft-Lite DH I could find in their literature for their Element and Imperial LS series was 28.

Re: Windows for Passive Solar Sunroom
If you are able to find a vendor for your preferred product in your area, your best bet will be to request what may be possible on the glass offering. The high solar gain options are not an "everyday" package, so they may not be listed in the literature but could still be obtained.
On Harvey, the Softlite Elements and ls would be the preferred products offered
