Unknown manufacturer Hanninen

#1 Post by PMA »

Hello everyone,
I bought a house that has replacement vinyl windows and one window is missing the bottom sash. I found a label in the top of the frame and only name is Hanninen and other measurements and specs of the window. Does anyone know who Hanninen is? Cant find any info on them. My guess is these are at least 10yrs old in the northern Illinois area

Nothing is impossible, but I've never heard of that manufacturer nor does a google search return anything... Is it possible that name was simply the name of the homeowners when the windows were installed?

As WoW stated, a pic or two of the window and sticker would be helpful.

I think you need 5 posts to get the full functionality of the board.

So after looking at an identical window adjacent to my problem one, I found an AAMA label that has a Mfr code of SIL-2.
Closest I could find is Silverline windows. Can anyone verify that? I'd post a pic, but still cant :(

Looking at the CPD numbers for silver line they start the CPD number with SIL- they also have an 8500 line of windows so the 8501 would represent that it is a double hung in the 8500 line up. That's my best guess. Although I haven't paid a whole lot of attention to the silver line series i don't recall them having endcaps on the lift rail. So they may be an older design? A quick stop to home depot they will have plenty of them in stock, likely not that sizer but you could see if thats your window. The 17309....... is likely your order number and item number of the order

Thanks for the replies guys. The AAMA label also has a 2005 on the side. So I'm thinking that's the date of manufacture. I took a stab at using the warranty link on the Silverline web page. We'll see if they recognize the order number.
