Alside 8000 vs RBS Premier Plus
Which is the better window between RBS PremierPlus or the Alside 8000? Are these equivalent quality windows or is one significantly better than the other?

Can't find a brochure on the RBS product. Any links to any information?

Yes, RBS is Richards Building Supply. It is made by Midway Windows, but is the “store brand” of Richards. Unfortunately they don’t have anything online anymore. I have a brochure, but I’m not sure how much relevant info it really has.

I don't want to judge a window by its website, but the complete lack of any functional information on that product from RBS makes me unable to offer and opinion either way.

The RBS line is a "price point" offering. Any option like this from a lumber yard is made/marketed/priced for smaller, non-window-centric contractors to offer. Quality and performance are not high on the list of attributes as such... YOu may actually want to take a closer look at the contractor offering this to you for those same reasons.
The Alside 8000 is one of the better models from that manufacturer, although not held in the highest esteem by most pros. You could definitely do worse, it is not a BAD window... Just that it is often priced similarly to better options in my experience.... I will say though that in this comparison its the winner.

agree with homesealed. The 8000 is alside’s only decent window in my opinion.
