Has anyone had any experience with Lincoln aluminum clad windows failing? I have 11 year old windows and 14 of them have to be replaced (sash). The frames on the casements have been looked at and are said to be in good shape. The frames on the stationary ones seem to be sound, but sometimes it's hard to know until the sash comes out on those. I have a little moisture and water damage on the bottom of the sash on two of the stationary ones, but the window guy told me that doesn't mean the frame is bad. He doesn't think I will have a problem, but I'm really worried about it and have to wait 3 or 4 weeks for the new sashes to come in and then find out. Anyone have any experience with this?
