Hello:
I’m looking to replace 23 double hungs and 2 picture windows (57x59 & 48x59) one of which has a half round above it. I’m just west of St Louis, MO.
I’ve gotten two quotes thus far, one from Window World for around $15k for their 4000 series which seems like an inferior window, and one from Zen for their Soft-Lite Nirvana for $18k. Zen did offer a free upgrade to Joyce Lotus which they say is equivalent to a $103/window upgrade to the Soft-Lites. Should I consider the Joyce option?
I’ve got a couple more dealers to come over to quote: RBA, Pella, Universal Windows Direct (I think they have rebranded Polaris?), and STL windows direct who sell Great Lakes and Home Guard.
Who am I missing? Does anyone know if there is an Okna dealer in St Louis?
I’m looking for a solid mid range option, far better than builders grade but not necessarily the absolute top of the line. I am looking for plain white vinyl with no grids. Energy efficiency is most important to me, I’m not as concerned with looks or non-utilitarian features.
Thanks for your expertise.
