Need help deciding...please

#1 Post by wings9798 »

Hello,

I live in Denver, Colorado and have been collecting quotes for new vinyl windows for the last few weeks. My house was built in 2002 with Milgard vinyl builder grade windows. The majority of my current 2nd story windows have various forms of damage due to my house facing South and the constant sun. I will be replacing with vinyl DH and DS windows and a large picture window and patio door with transom. I am leaning towards the Zen Lotus (SoftLite Pro) but want your input. All quotes are for double pane, Low-e unless otherwise stated. With the exception of the patio door and transom, all have colonial style grids. Thank you!

Patio Door 72X80 North
Patio Door Transom 72X13 North
Fam Room ¼, ½, ¼ 95x58 North
KIT DS 71X47 North
MBath DS Temp 46X47 East
MBath DS Temp 35X47 North
BDR1 DH 35X59 South
BDR1 DH 35X59 South
BDR1 DH 35X59 South
BDR2 DH 23X71 South
BDR2 DH 47X71 South
BDR2 DH 23X71 South

I am not familiar with the Anlin product (West Coast product), but I do hear good things about it.

The Sunrise (assuming the V Series = Vanguard) is a solid option as is the Soft-Lite Pro options. The Triple pane variant sounds like a good idea for your climate too.
