I have a home with face and entire first level brick, upper level sides and back are driveit (built 2002). Looking at replacement windows, and wondering what works best (hoping not to have to deal with driveit repair)?
I had a fairly detailed virtual intro with Pella, and they indicated they could do cedar around window to tie to drive it - but the way my house is designed the driveit is part of broader elevation/design.
Would like opinions from anyone knowledgeable, also interested in talking to service providers in southwest suburbs of Chicago.
I've seen a ton of chatter about Window4u being great resource in Chicagoland - but I don't know how to contact...
Thanks in advance for the help!

wjm, while Window4u was a true window guru, consummate professional, and and genuinely good guy in my experience, unfortunately he is no longer with us.
As far as your installation, some pics may offer some insight, but I believe that your best bet is to get a highly knowledgeable local window specialist to come out and take a look at your project. Dryvit is a nice wall cladding system, but not all that common on residential applications. Many well-meaning installers struggle to get these installs right. As important as a good installer/installation is with any window project, it is that much more so in this case.
