Looking for someone who really knows.
We bought a home with 10 year old 96” x 80 Milgard fiberglass sliding door. It is dual pane low-E glass with the grid inside. We want one-light doors.
If we buy a new set of the similar model can we just install the panels into the existing frame? Or has the design changed where it won’t fit.
Looking for a more affordable swap. Re-glazing quote was $1600 and new doors are 1100
Will new Milgard sliders fit into older Millard frame?

I would call Milgard with your serial number from that unit and ask them. They should be able to tell you and I have found them to be really helpful in the past. You might want to ask them about a quote on the panel themselves too. Given that you are changing the panels for a new look, they may actually supply you with them.
