Anlin/Simonton. Pricing Socal

We are getting bids on our two story home to replace 23 windows. Most are sliders with 6 large panes for atrium and two sliding glass doors.


American Vision quotes us Anlin at roughly 35K. Window Solutions offers up Simonton at 31.2K Both use their own crews.


Wondering opinions on the two brands and feedback on pricing. I notice one vendor charges to remove/replace window coverings.

We also have a bathroom window, roughly 22 x75 to do. Was told by one vendor 72" is the maximum size so can't do double hung. The other vendor didn't mention this.

What model of each window? There are several and the recommendations will depend on what models are specified.

Anlin Del Mar and the Simonton Daylight Max.

On the question for size of double hung, I asked the vendor who responded: " that window in particular if it comes down to it I've gotten the special approval to go just beyond the max height for double hungs with Simonton. Very confident we should be good there"
