Hi,
Excuse me, I'm still learning the terminology so excuse me , but I'm looking for a resource to compare specs on how wide the casing/frame of replacement windows is.
I don't know if it's a simple measurement or would vary by window type or size. Or is there maybe a spec for the ratio of glass to frame?
Is this listed anywhere for all makes models?
Currently comparing Soft-Lite Classic Plus and Anlin Catalina.
Thank you!

Re: Looking for specs on casing sizes
You'd have to get the pdfs of the frames and windows from the manufacturer to compare actual sizes. As far as a database, none such exists.
That said, you can generally get a good idea of what window are a narrower profile from comparing VT (Visible Transmittance) numbers. Assuming that you compare equivalent glass packages (double vs. double, Low-e range vs. Low-e range, no grids vs. no grids), you can see a bunch via that measurement.

If you get in touch with a specific dealer of those products they should be able to provide you with that info.

Soft-Lite Classic has one of the more max glass narrow less vinyl frames/sashes out there. SL's stronger and newer platforms (Elements/Imperial LS) have more robust vinyl.
