Feedback on Anlin Del Mar Quote

#1 Post by sdelphy01 »

I have an Anlin Del Mar quote for 1x replacement vinyl sliding glass door and 5x replacement vinyl windows for $13,910. It includes full frame install, not certain about tax (~8%). Location is Fort Collins, CO on a standard siding house. Existing windows are 25 year old wood.

I was guestimating about $3,500 for the sliding glass door leaving $2,082 on average per window.

What do you all think as I've not quoted windows and doors in some time.

The details are:

1x Vinyl sliding glass door, 72x80, tan color, and LowE3 coating that I think is their standard.

And then 5x vinyl windows all in tan color and all with their Infinit-e plus LowE3 coating:
1x Single slider, 55x58, internal grids.
1x Single slider, 54x44, internal grids.
1x Half-moon fixed, 53x28, internal grids.
1x Single slider, 46x36.
1x End vent slider, 86x52, each end slider window 52x24½.

And as a side note, if all was changed to the standard white color, the quote would be about $700 less.

Seems a bit light for the color deduction. Standard pocket type installation?

Full frame install going from 25 year old wood windows that I think I listed above.

Also, quote is all inclusive local tax on materials as well.

Thoughts on the $13.9k quote?

Why full tear out? Are the wood frames shot or are you just worried about glass loss?
