Hey Guy,
I only know of two companies who make that stuff, Pilkington in Great Britain and Asahi in Japan.
Both of those companies have float plants in North America, but I don't know if either actually make that product on this side of the ocean.
I made a couple of calls, and received the same answer...they make it, but not sure if they ever make it over here.
And about the gas...I admit you have me there. I don't know about that one...but now I am curious and I will find out!

Oberon, The first time I installed that stuff was as a glazer working at a school to replace glass that had been vandalized. The other installer, who had a deep southern accent, kept asking me to bring him a piece of broke glass. Took me a while to figure that one out.

Now we'll see just how knowledgable Oberon and FenEx are, to see if either "get" my last post. :)

Guy and I were discussing this in a previous post.
I originally called this Wired glass - Guy, but I felt like I was calling myself by that.
I probably should have called it wired glass continued!

Ok, nobody wins the bratwurst. The broke glass he was asking me to get that was confusing me was actually Baroque glass. Baroque is the wired glass that has the squares in it, not the diamonds. Here's a picture. http://www.hawkinsglass.net/products/wire_obscure.htm

And I was trying to figure what the heck "broke" meant in southern drawl...luckily, no one walked by and saw me at my desk trying to say 'brokeeeeeeee - ya'll"

That's Funny!! When I first read the post it's the first thing that came to my mind. I then called myself an idiot and said "Who'd make or call glass by that name". I was just reading about a Baroque Music Festival. That's the only reason the word popped into my mind. Go Figure!!!
