Pella sliding doors vs Anderson sliding doors

Is there really any difference between a DP50-rated Anderson set of sliding doors and a DP50-rated Pella set?? Is I definitely do NOT want wood, am I better off (sea-side) with aluminum (for strength) or vinyl (for maintenance and energy efficiency) .... please advise. Thanks!

Diane

Personally I'm a huge fan of the Pella sliding door. I think it works better than almost anyones. Remember it's only my opinion! Now if I'm following this right your talking the all vinyl door and frame. So Andersen's PS series door. Andersen does have a good door. THe PS510 is a bit smaller than most others. IT retro fits much nicer than others. I guess bang for the buck is always involved here. I would say economically they are a toss up. Your wallet will make the decision. Good Luck!!
