I was wondering what kind of windows I have. I just purchased the house and the windows are double pane vinyl. The ring b/w the panes say STI 1A or STI 1B. They were manufactured sometime b/w the end of 2000 and early 2001. The screen tabs also say either A-X7164 or D-X71645. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you ever find out what kind of windows you have? I have the same screen p/n and was also searching google to try to find the window manufacturer. Ironically, the only hit I had was your message.
By the way, are your windows vinyl with two flimsy handles on the bottom - each looks like this |___|. And do you remove the sliding window by prying inward a flat metal clip on each side?

No, I have not had any luck. The wierd thing is my window has a complete handle on the bottom and two vinyl clips to tip it forward. I am not sure how to completely remove. I saw the STI-1a in the top left corner in b/w the two panes with a date of manufacture. I would look there. Let me know if you come up w/ anything else and I will keep you posted.
