My advice to everyone who cares...do not respond further to Biancardi. He purchased his windows from a great guy, windows4u. I say that with sincerity, but he has his stated position. Let the two of them enjoy their relationship. DO NOT be baited into a situation where something is said that will ne...

Widows4U I think that without question, you should, but can't, admit that much said in this forum about bad service, poor quality, and sloppy workmanship is true. You know that the reason you are now getting your service parts in a miraculous two weeks is that A. Schuco is a shadow of their former s...

Argon will increase the insulating value of an insulated glass unit on an average of 20%. Argon will dissapate, but assuming an average fill rate of 90+% it would take decades to reach a level where insulating values reach the point that ordinary air fill would start at. This is assuming a high perf...

www.cardinalcorp.com/data/tsb/ig/IG14.pdf The web link listed above will give you a PDF technical (written in laymans terms) explanation of what breather tubes do, why they are needed, and why Cardinal does not use argon when breather tubes are required. The PDF is a good, honest description of why ...

From the wording you described, I would say you are OK with cancellation. I do think it would be unfair to the Contractor to force them to absorb the cost of the Stucco tear out and redo. This may be a case were the initial contract price just won't stand the additional work that the measure person ...

Now, for more interesting information that Schuco never told you about. Schuco is actually a subsidiary of a much larger German company called "OTTO FUCHS". Otto Fuchs lists SCHUCO International as a subsidiary specializing in "Aluminum" building components. You can view this inf...
