Re: Sunrise vs Paradigm vs Someone better in Michigan
Seems very high for Pella or Milgard....I bet you can get better fiberglass for less elsewhere. Get a second quote, even if it is from another authorized dealer. Is your main concern, the size of the windows?

Re: Canadian Thermo Windows vs. Serious Windows vs. Milgard
I just googled the CTW and realized their address is the same as the Magic Window company. I am vaguely familiar with them. Average window with alot of gimmicks(i.e. slider screen on the inside, like a Phantom roll away screen) and astericks. Just remember when you open the screen to close the windo...

Thanks Anthony
I can't believe I forgot Pella, I must be getting old....lol. For under $500.00 my list is pretty much useless... Let us know how this turns out.

Re: Seeking Recommendations
For all Fiberglass, the companies are: Accurate Dorwin, Alpen(Serious), Cascadia, Comfortline, Duxton, Fibertec, Inline, Marvin, Milgard and Thermotech. I think that's all of them... I think they all do: Standard full screen, color options, removable sashes, SDL, etc. Obviously there are benefits an...

Re: Marvin Infinity Bid Evaluation, and Replacement Timing?
For me, that seems like a lot for fiberglass windows. Do some shopping, I'm sure you can get way better performing windows than the Infinity for less. The most I've ever heard was $1100 for a fb window not including Serious.

Re: Window A/C Air Conditioner install for fiberglass window
Stupid question but if you can afford Marvin Infinity, could you not afford central air. Why would you buy an window to drill holes into it? You should have left the original one in there.
FYI, once you fool with the window, the warranty is gone.....
Good Luck!

Re: Fiberglass Windows in High Fire Zones
Greg
I've never heard of high fire zones. Fiberglass windows are not fire rated so aluminum might be your only option...or keep checking. How about wood windows...sorry I couldn't resist.

Re: Need help in Canada
Two companies in Ottawa Canada that are good, Fridgen Fenestration or Nepean Windows. They have been around for a while. After that, it's up to you to do your research on the different types of windows that they carry. Fridgen do both commercial and residential, while Nepean specializes in residenti...
