Who repairs rotten Caradco a/k/a Jeld-Wen Windows?

I am sure this treatment for "rot" is great but the issue seems to me to be why do they rot at all if properly treated, prepared, sealed, and painted?

Windows (Pine) do rot after a very, very long period of time (20 years) even if they have been properly treated, sealed, and primered by the manufacturer. If you check the warranty, you can clearly see how confident the manufacturer is about this "rotting" process with their warranty.

Have them give you a copy of the Warranty in writing!

Call Jeld-Wen C/S to have them send you the replacement parts (sashes/sills) if they are pre-2004 wood windows...
