Re: Marvin or Integrity All Ultrex?
Regarding the Infinity line, there is only one vendor serving my area. I have not yet seen Infinity in person, will do so soon, only had an initial in-home sales and measurement visit. However I don't think I'll be able to work with this contractor: they are more of a general contractor, nice showro...

Re: Installation cost
Sorry, I should have noted that I have only been seeking quotes from established local contractors, highly rated under Better Business Bureau, Angie's List comments, definitely not two-guys-and-a-pickup or laid-off folks.

Re: Marvin or Integrity All Ultrex?
I now understand Marvin Infinity is designed to be an insert replacement window while Marvin Integrity is for new construction. I definitely want to retain the present interior trim (to avoid disruption to adjoining interior finishes). Is the Integrity line able to be ordered and manufactured for or...

Installation cost
I've been receiving quotes for a pocket replacement window project. I've now also received a "builders cost" quote for just the window products from a builder supply. The project is straight forward installation, one story, good access. Other than the windows and basic removal/installation...

Re: Marvin or Integrity All Ultrex?
No, I have not looked at Infinity. From the Infinity website, it appears there is only one retailer/contractor in my entire metropolitan area (hmmm). On the Infinity website, I cannot find any links to information about size limitation factors. For my project, I have two openings (40w x 38h and 52w ...

Marvin or Integrity All Ultrex?
(Update from an earlier post.) For a pocket replacement window project, I've narrowed my choice to either Marvin or Integrity All-Ultrex. The project will involve 3 large fixed units and 14 various size casement or awning units, interior finish to blend with white painted interior trim. The Marvin e...

Re: product line recommendations
Original poster here.
Today I've been researching the (Marvin) Integrity All Ultrex line. Seems to meet my criteria at a lower cost than Marvin wood windows. I plan to visit a local showroom to look at them. Any comments (pro or con) on the All Ultrex line? Thanks.

Re: product line recommendations
Regarding material, I'm open to alternatives. - Perhaps aluminum clad exterior with compatible aluminum trim coil to wrap the brick mold. I am also going to have a project to re-roof, wrap roof trim, new gutters, fascia wrap, soffits, so it would be advantageous to have a common or close match alumi...

product line recommendations
I'll be seeking quotes for an insert replacement window project, I'd appreciate some recommendations on particular product lines that suit my criteria, thanks. - Ranch style house, cut stone exterior, window openings are recessed. - Presently have 14 various size double hungs and 3 80w x 48h picture...
