solar low-e option on softlite ls dh inserts
solar low-e option on softlite ls dh inserts
In the louisville, ky area, it seems that there are many more sunny summer days and comparatively few sunny winter days...assuming that's true, would it make sense than to upgrade to a solar low-e coating, ( shgc improves from .28 to .20), especially on the southern, westerm exposure windows? Normally those .20 shgc coatings are recommended for southern states only but I think in this area it might be worth considering..thanks in advance..

According to the climate data, Louisville is still a very heating degree dominated day.
