had a wonderful experience with this company. We had eight front windows and our front door replaced by Anderson. Yes, they are expensive. However, their product and service is second to none. We have another companies windows on the side and back of the house... they are fine, but there is a difference in quality and looks. Also, we had a leak happen with one of our Anderson windows. We called Anderson, they came out, found the problem and fixed it immediately. They even offered to pay for the cost of fixing the wall and painting where the leak occurred. My door color came in slightly different than the color I had wanted. The manager came out looked at it and offered to make another one in the correct color. They won't quit working with you until you are happy with their service. From the contractor, the installers, to the project manager everyone was nice, respectful and professional. Seriously, this company is a dream to work with. So although the cost may be more than others, there is a lot to be said for being able to call the company and get problems solved with no hassle and in a timely manner. I love the windows, I get more compliments on my door than I can say. I am extremely happy with Anderson windows and Renewal by Anderson. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend them to friends and neighbors. Wylmetta Harman Charlotte

Two windows cost just over $4800 and were installed in 2017 on a house that was 10 years old. Service Techs were wonderful and have been out 3 times and still the windows are unreasonably drafty. Informed nothing else can be done to stop the drafts except to purchase storm windows. Why in the world would I have to buy storm windows when Renewal by Anderson promises warm and cozy. Would never purchase Anderson windows again.

Shawn from Colorado Springs was the installer for Renewal By Anderson. He was great, very careful, and explained the warranty and how everything worked. He and his assistant Robert from Denver cleared everything before they left and we were very satisfied with their work.

As one review states, I thought theses windows for the price of a Bentley would be sound proof, but no go! I just had them installed so I can't give a true review yet. Lest me get thru a NY winter. Stay tuned.
4 small basement windows cost were $5G The house cost me what the house cost in 1969.

No different than other companies, Nothing "Special".....

Way too high, in fact, the sales Rep. was too pushy, in fact, he had several Rate Quotes, a rate quote if I signed right than, a rate if I would agree in that month and a rate for the year... and a "Special" rate IF I allowed the Company to use my house as a drive-by display house and allow the Company to put out signs that promoted the Company advertising that they had just put in new windows in my house! But that was taken away after I decided Not to have a Bay window put in my front living room. Of course the salesman came in and immediately started telling me how OLD my windows were, allowing in drafts and cold, as If I did not know! Then telling me how bad my next door neighbors windows were, like I cared! He was way to pushy, I had to decide right then and there for the deal, Not to shop around because every other window company makes junk! I would just waste my time but he did not care, he was paid on salary! Blah, blah.... What a waste of time, it would have cost at least $15 k for 8 windows and the house value will not even go up that much in the next ten years. Renewal by Andersen needs to back off on the sales pitches!

House built in 1989 . 12 double hung windows, 1 picture window & 1 patio door & 3 basement windows, all Anderson & all leak like a sic!!! I have condensation and even ice inside the windows and the patio door from bad leakage . Total garbage windows . Our first home was built in 1956 and it had original windows that never leaked, condensates or iced up indoors like these andersens do. We just had a new furnace installed and our humidity level in the home is at 33% at 69 degrees.

I have replaced 5 of my anderson windows. I have 5more to replace.The prroblem is the bottom right of the bottom sash on every window is rotting. When I called about warranty I was told that arotting sash was not covered. Ireplace the worst 5windows allready. In my opinion any who buys anderson windows is foolish.I have 3sky lights that have been repaired also. The Frenchdoor is holding up so far.I work for a contractor and he swears not to use anderson windows.

This was new construction windows. The windows looked good, but now the wood used in the frame construction is rotted and the windows are falling away from the frame leaving a 1/2" crack at the top.

This complaint is about the Anderson windows, not the contractor. The windows are manufactured out off cheap materials, so they do not last. The warranty claims to be "Lifetime" but Anderson will not honor the warranty, they say it does not mean the owners lifetime. They must mean the 5 year lifetime of their sorry product!
Price was high compared to others. Anderson claimed this was the best window over all the others.

Windows look lovely, But 2 weeks later, bar on the screen popped out while moving it up/down to stain the inside of the window frame. Have not been able to reach anyone as #s have changed and cannot get through to leave a message.
