Our seven new wood clad Weather Shield windows , and one door, were installed about a month ago. Most of the windows were casements. At delivery two of the windows were broken (wouldn't open due to bad mechanism) a third broke within the first week (won't lock into place). Many had hardware that was not the color I ordered. Given the experience we've already had, I feel Weather Shield makes a low quality product. They have said that they will fix the problems, I'm waiting to see. I was told by my sale person that most of the bad reviews online given to Weather Shield are due to bad installation, but that hasn't been our experience, our installation looks great, the product is faulty.
