The Marvin fiberglass Integrity unit looks nice. I may decide to go for that. Is there any real difference between the aluminum clad and the fiberglass? I know the options are limited in the Integrity line compared to the clad line.

thanks.

Wayside, Yeah, Newpro was about the same price. I wonder how much the triple pane with Krypton adds to the price compared to double pane argon. I would look at the Marvin fiberglass, but I really like their french casement for a few windows. They look like they are really nice construction, anybody ...

Just to give you an update, The Schuco rep came out, and the price is out of my budget. Now it is between the Marvin and the Simonton's. Anybody have any info on those? Anybody have a reason why the Schuco's would be that much more than the Marvins? I priced up Marvin aluminum clad, insulated glass....

FenEx,
I really like the Marvin's, and may end of going with them ( they have french casements that fit one of my large window's perfectly).
I really like the benefit of the triple pane from Schuco, hopefully I can get a price on window's only. Is there anything else you would suggest?

thanks

Thanks FenEx,
I appreciate you and others taking time out to educate window shoppers.
I was wondering if you would take a look at my post over in "ask your window questions".

thanks again

Looking for new windows in Mass, advice?

Hi, Thanks in advance for helping me out. I have been looking at new windows for my house (low e, gas filled, new construction type with nail fin). I will be doing the installation myself ( I am re-doing my siding as well). I have looked at Anderson, Pella, Harvey and Marvin. Anybody have any advice...

Marvin spacers

Hi,
I have been looking at windows for my house.

What exactly is Marvins SS-D spacer ( that is what is listed for their clad casemaster window on the NFRC).

How does it compare to Harvey windows spacers?

thanks for helping me out.
