Re: Equal price: 3 pane Sunrise v 2 pane Softlite Kingsroyal
Thank you so much for your responses. I keep going back and forth. I know both are great options, just trying to get the "best" door. Which is why I was looking for the expert opinions on here. :) Most contractors here offer the triple pane options (if not do triple pane promotions). The S...

Equal price: 3 pane Sunrise v 2 pane Softlite Kingsroyal
I am finally ready to get my new patio door ordered and trying to make a final decision. The Sunrise patio door is triple pane ($2,118) and the Softlite Kingsroyal door is double pane (and $2,189). I had 3 Softlite Imperial LS picture windows installed in my living room, and am happy with the produc...

Softlite installation problems
I had three large picture windows installed a little over a year ago in my family room. We went with the Softlite Imperial LS in the triple pane. First off, I have been very happy with the windows themselves. This spring/summer we have gotten a large amount of rain. Directly below these windows is a...

Re: Sunrise v Softlite v Anderson 400 v Marvin Infinity patio dr
I went and viewed them all today and am now even more confused. I liked the solid feel of the Kingsroyal door (have taken the Montpelier door off the list). I think the steel in the vertical sash adds to this? I liked the sill on the Sunrise door. We have been having water coming in on the sill of o...

Re: Sunrise v Softlite v Anderson 400 v Marvin Infinity patio dr
Not sure which I liked the look of. Want a good looking door, but am really wanting a good performer. Also will be replacing more and more windows over the next few years so am hoping for one with a good window that will match.

Sunrise v Softlite v Anderson 400 v Marvin Infinity patio dr
We are need of a new slider patio door. I have been pricing out several different brands (installers) and was hoping you all could help interpret which is the best deal. After researching here 2 years ago, we installed 3 Softlite Imperial LS triple-pane windows in our living room. Have been really h...

Re: Softlite Imperal LS price quote & opinion of Marvin Infinity
HomeSealed: thanks for your thoughts. That is definitely helpful and I also value function over form. If the price is higher than the Imperial LS than I won't look into them anymore. I don't think the install is too complex. We just have three large picture windows in our family room. They have to r...

Softlite Imperal LS price quote & opinion of Marvin Infinity
Went back to the Softlite showroom and got updated pricing (last quote was from February). They actually came down in price a little bit. Anyway, was hoping to find out where this number was sitting with the professionals on here. For rough opening size of 3'-0" W x 6'-6" H, three picture ...

Re: Windsor Price Quote vs. Softlite vs. Anderson vs. Jeld-Wen
The Softlite is definitely my favorite option, but with the cost being higher, I am wondering if the Windsor Pinnacle Clad was a good option or the Softlite Barrington? What do you all think of those two? Hoping to get updated Softlite/JeldWen pricing by Thursday. As for what materials I like, I am ...

Windsor Price Quote vs. Softlite vs. Anderson vs. Jeld-Wen
I know this is a wide ranging assortment of windows, but seems to be two main dealers who carry different products here. I currently have Windsor wood windows in my home. It is 10 years old (we have been here for two) and has NOT been taken care of before me. The wood frames were primed but never pa...

Replacement window advice for Nebraska
Been looking for windows for over a year now and have gotten to the point of must replace. After researching brands, have gotten a good idea as to brands to look into (Simonton, Sunrise, Softlite, HiMark/Okna, Gorell) however my problem comes in trying to locate an installer/dealer that serves my ar...
