Has anyone ever heard of Gentek or Vinyl Max replacement windows? Are these decent quality replacement windows, average, or junk?

yes it should fit. Shims, fasteners, foam, caulk, and flashing will comprise the effectiveness of your installation. Exterior stops are not even necessary.
