Hi there,
I live in NC and SW side of my house gets super hot (starting from Feb). I'm planning to replace all windows. I've settled on the company that offers glass packages with 2 and 3 layers of low-e and there is no price difference.
My original thought was to put 3 layer ones on the SW side of the house and all other side 2 layers. I looked at visibility at both windows and I can see the difference though I can't picture the final results. I have a concern that installer can mess up which windows go where.
My concern with putting 3 layer everywhere is that it would make house dark inside. But not sure if it is valid.
Can you please share your experience or any other considerations I should be thinking about?

What kind of glass is in the home now?
