Yeah, that's pretty funny. A couple years ago I was at a Remodellers Convention in Baltimore, MD and Andersen invited a bunch of us to breakfast to preview a variety of test screens, and give our opinions on each. They made us swear to secrecy about the whole thing, and it made me think right then that they were paranoid about the whole "trade secret" type process.
Perhaps they don't realize that there are several Chinese manufacturers of these invisible type insect screens, so would it be illegal for any US window company to purchase and install that type of screen as an option?
I didn't know that the idea of keeping bugs out could be patented as exclusive. LOL
