Can anyone suggest windows and a company to install them. I live in the south suburbs of chicago. Anyone know anything about Lang windows?

I don't know anything about Lang windows but we live in the far western suburbs and have been collecting estimates the last two weeks or so. I'd second the recommendation to talk to Window4U as he is very helpful.
The windows we have looked at include:
Gorell 5300
Alside Sheffield & Excalibur
Schuco 4000
Simonton 9800 & 5500
AirTite
Great Lakes 4000
As for companies to install them, I would recommend you talk to friends and neighbors to see if anyone has personal experiences to share. Then proceed to get estimates from a handful of companies and do your homework on checking their BBB feedback and check references on their work, that should help weed out the companies you want to consider.
