I'm thinking you should get a Marvin quote. I guessed at $1000 per window but you may have a local installer that will do it for less. You could also do it in phases to spread the cost out.

It's a real wood window, not a wood veneer. You'll be very happy with the product.

Yes, they do but it is not in the literature yet. They have recently added Cherry, a new richer dark oak, and a color they call southern pine, which matches older shellaced or varnished pine real nice. In a lot of homes with old shellaced or varnished pine, the only option in most windows has been to go with light oak, which does not have the orange and reddish hues to really make a nice match. This new color fills that spot nicely.

Lauren Windows also offers a replacement window in hardwoods with Cherry stain or in Cherry wood. No minumim buy required with pretty decent lead-time. It will be more than a vinyl, probably close to Marvin. Lauren is located in Ohio.
