I am going to replace a total of 25 wood windows due to fogging and frame/sill rotting. The contractor I talked to gave me a quote using Monarch M Cell composite windows which are made in Anniston, AL. I don't know the amount for just the window replacement, because his quote included replacing masonite siding and complete exterior painting. The Monarch website only lists specs for U value (.27) and Cond resistance (60). Has anyone heard of these windows or had any experience with them? They are owned by Woodgrain Windows of Idaho.
Can anyone recommend a good window contractor in the Birmingham area that uses good materials and install them correctly?
Thanks in advance.
