I know the Starmark Windows have been discussed ad nauseam on this forum. Does anybody on this board have 1st hand experience with the Starmark sliding patio doors? Are they as highly rated and reliable as the windows?
Thanks for the input!

The standard Okna /HiMark unit is used with the Starmark, and it is a phenomenal door. U value of .26 with double pane, air infiltration of .06, and a fully welded frame. You simply will not beat those numbers.

Its great....unless you have to unload them from the truck.
The installers hate them. They weigh a metric ton.

So is the Starmark patio door the same as the Elegante Okna patio door?
I'd like to know if it is a cellulose composite frame like the Starmark windows?

+1. Installers hate transporting them, but they are happy when they can just flop it in because it is already assembled.
Its a vinyl extrusion as WoW mentioned. 8800/Elegante

Just had a contract come in for 2 @ 8' units. 2nd and 3rd fl balcony only access.
Ouch, we need all hands on deck and below the deck.
