Marvin Ultimate Replacment vs. Anderson Woodwright replaceme

I"m looking to replace 12 double hungs windows in my 1901 house. I've narrowed my choice to either the marvin ultimate double hung insert replacement or the Anderson Woodwright double hung replacement. Both seem to be an excellent window for the price. I've received a nearly identical quote for both brands. It seems to me that the main difference is the exterior material (Marvin is aluminum clad whereas the Anderson is a softer material). For those of you familiar with these products, please provide me with some insight as to advantages and disadvantages of both the Marvin and Anderson. Thanks in advance!
