I am looking to replace windows in Denver, CO. Per my HOA I must replace the windows w/grid bars and w/the exterior color being a brown. My main concern in Denver is if the newer vinyl products still have issues with warping in our sunny, high-altitude climate, especially since I have to go with a darker exterior color. So far in warranties I've only seen that companies will cover cracking, peeling, chipping, etc. . .but nothing about if the vinyl warps.
Also, does anyone have any opinions when comparing composite/fiberglass vs vinyl frames in this climate?
Thus far, for composite I've been given quotes for THZ Compozit and Milgard Ultra. For vinyl I've been told about Vinylmax Hyde Park and Alside Sheffield. In trying to research these products, I've seen mixed reviews on the Alside, and can't find much of any info about any of the others, I'd be appreciative of any input from anyone having some experience with these products and how well they compare.
