Aluminum wrapping windows (is it necessary)

Wrapping the window will ensure no water getting behind the window. If only caulked in place this can pose a problem. Many are not impressed with the look of aluminum around the window. Ask your contractor if they can use a PVC trim. Same result. Nicer look.
