I was wondering if a quote for the gorell 5155 sounds reasonable.
We have 10 windows that are 36x72 and the quote was $4900 total.

The size of your windows is going to be a factor in any price you receive from anyone, since they are oversize. Most all window factories charge a premium for any thing over 101 united inches (width + height).
That said, I have a problem with your quote, but it's not the price, it's the product. I would never install the Gorell 5155 in 36" X 72" openings. They are just not sturdy enough to be made that large and last a lifetime in my opinion.
I'd put the Gorell 5300 series in there no problem though, as they are a much better and more stout window.

We called the dealer back and asked him how much more it would be to put in the Gorell 5300 series instead of the 5155. It will cost us $50 more a window. Our total cost will be $5400 for 10 - 36"x72" windows. I just wanted to double check and make sure this was a reasonable price. We looked into Schuco but they do not have a dealer anywhere around here.
