Simonton 5500 versus Simonton 9400 - Any difference ???
Is there any major difference between a 5500 and a 9400 ???? Many Thanks !!!!

You are comparing the best window in the Reflections line to the drop window in the Impressions Line.
The 5500 has more material weight in the framing and it has a more attractive sash with shadow groove welds compared to the knife cleaned on the 9400. They both have low-e/argon, extruded screens and the same ¾†heavy duty SS constant force balancer. The 5500 is the better window.
Now the Impressions dealer should provide better service in that they deal direct with Simonton and the installers receive factory training. The 9400 is a good window but if you can, try to swing the Impressions 9800 that is Simonton’s best.
