Can any of the experts on this site offer an opinion of the Kensington Huntington double hung window? These would be for a 1930s brick house in Washington, DC. Window seems to have good specs, but is it well designed and constructed, and is the company reliable? Lady of the house is seeking a slim frame in a “soft white” color, and she likes the “satin” vinyl and the frame width, though the frame esthetics appeal only marginally to her.
Re installers, we’ve seen the window at American Home Center in Beltsville, MD; they have an excellent Washington Checkbook rating, for whatever that’s worth, and they seem more knowledgeable than any of the high-pressure “in-home” types we’ve encountered. If anyone has any experience with them, we’d like to know that too.
Thanks!
