Hi everyone,
New to windows here. I'm looking to do a retrofit vinyl window with either Jeld-Wen or Milguard (going through Home Depot). Does anyone have thoughts on which would be better? I plan to be in my current place for a long time. I know that Milguard has a lifetime warranty but not sure what Jeld-Wen offers. Your thoughts and feedback would be appreciated. Is there anything else to consider?

Jeld-Wen versus Milguard
The Jeld-Wen warranty and the Milgard are almost Identical. The Jeld-Wen warranty claims department is easier to deal with if there is a problem. and lately has been in under two weeks to get resolution. Milgard is at about 6 weeks right now, but are also very good. The Milgard Siteline is better than the Jeld-Wen builders but the Jeld-Wen Premium is better than the Milgard Classic. Depends on which one you buy as to which is better. The Jeld-Wen is a better value.
