I'd really recommend getting at least one more quote.Justsuern wrote:None. His windows alone are$ 1400 more than Champion. Its over 3000 to do the woodwork job.EcoStar Remodeling wrote:How much of the $1400 is for the additional work?

Already getting another quote from a Gorell dealer. I thought it would be a lot easier getting windows!

Found another company that sells Gorell and Seaway. Used by family members who loved him. Got a quote of around $10K for 15 windows and all of the wood replaced. We would do the staining of the wood.EcoStar Remodeling wrote:I'd really recommend getting at least one more quote.Justsuern wrote:None. His windows alone are$ 1400 more than Champion. Both windows seems nice. Not much info on Seaway. He said they are cheaper than Gorell, and likes both windows.
Any recommendations?
Thanks.

I would stay with a trusted product for the few extra dollars and go with the installer that you already have a good working sample of.
