To replace or not to replace...that is the question
I currently have Marvin double hung half inch insulated glass, no coating, no gas, wood windows (circa 1983) with storm sash... and multiple problems that are all repairable. But I don't like the storm sash. I live in northern Vt and house has no AC. Will I gain or lose efficiency if I replace with new windows (or maybe just sash) and do not install storms?
