Heartland, Alside, Weatherbarr (Harry G. Barr), Comfortworld

#1 Post by jayb »

Hi there, I am completely new at window shopping and am planning on replacing the original storm windows in my 25 year old house. I have been looking into vinyl replacements and it seems that these are the more common names in my area without making the price jump to pella or anderson. I know next to nothing about replacement windows besides what I've read on here and most threads that I've seen have been 5 years old or older. The comfortworld windows come from Window World and the others are sold through smaller reputable companies in Springfield, MO. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks! Jay

Energy Efficiency, Design Pressure, Air Infiltration, Warranty, and Product reviews are all part of the product end of things.

Customer reviews, work samples, installation expertise, and 3rd party ratings are part of the contractor equation.
