Looking to replace current aluminum windows with quality double hung vinyl replacement windows - about 11. No plans on selling home in the next 10+ years. Several saleman have been to our home. All the vinyl windows look pretty much the same and have the similar features and applicable ratings. However, a few saleman didn't bring a sample window to the appointment. Should I consider this an issue? Any recommendations on a good quality vinyl window would be appreciated? This can be a very frustrating process. Right now, Siminton looks like our top contender.
Thanks

If a salesman can't be bothered enough to bring a sample to you then I would cross them off my list. Simonton would be a good choice. Which Simonton model are you looking at?

Soft-Lite, Simonton, Sunrise, Okna, and Gorell are all available in your area.
I would suggest you get some other companies to deal with.
